I did this in 2 transactions at 2 separate stores (because the first was low on merch and I didn’t want to clear the shelf) and I will spare you the details of the not-so-nice experience I had at the second location. Ugh. When I kid myself about how couponing is all fun and games, remind me that every gain requires concentrated effort. ANYWAY… here’s the breakdown if you’re curious:

Buy 2 Baby Shampoo 2/$4.50
Buy 2 Baby Wash/Lotion 2/$4.50
Buy 2 RA Ibuprofen $2.99 BOGO
Buy 1 Excedrin $4.99
Total = $21.98
Used $5/$20 RAVV
Used (2) $1 Cheerios coupons
Used $1/2 RAVV Cheerios coupon
Used (4) $1 Johnson’s coupons
Used (4) $1 RAVV Johnson’s coupons

What is up with frustrating Rite Aid deals? Today I went to Rite Aid to get the Baby goodies. I had 10 items, 10 mfr coupons, and 10 RAVV coupons. The computer wouldn’t accept 2 of my coupons, even though they said “ANY Johnson & Johnson Baby Product”. The cashier wasn’t interested in WHY they wouldn’t work; she just said that if the computer wouldn’t take them, neither would she.
I’m not looking to start a war with any particular location, but I know where you shop… short of calling the 800# from the store I’d say pick a new location :-/
Anyone have any tips on how to handle a situation like that?
