$1.50/1 Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion coupon

vaseline sheer infusionCoupons.com released a new $1.50/1 coupon for Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion!

I know you really don’t care what kind of lotion I use, but I’m super picky about my lotion and, honestly, this stuff rocks.  It’s not too thick or sticky and it’s getting my skin through this dry Michigan winter! All the scents are great, but I like Botanical Blend (green label) the best! BTW, I was loyal to my previous lotion but gave this one a try because I got it FREE!  Here’s to non-brand loyalty! ;-)

Thanks to Shannon for the heads up!

44% Grocery Savings @Meijer 2/16/10

meijer 216

I saved 44% on groceries last night at Meijer.

Retail $60.21, Sale prices $54.72, Coupon savings $21.19, Final Price $33.53

I know it can be a challenge to save on groceries here in West Michigan.  I just wanted to show an example of how coupons can get you decent savings and it’s not ALL junk food.  I think I did ok considering my purchase included: $12 of soy milk, $10 of ground turkey (I missed the sale last week… ugh), and $5 of produce including the invisible baby bellas.  (Ok, ok and $8 of cookie dough… )

These were the final prices after all coupons (Meijer Mealbox and manufacturer):

  • Ortega Black Beans $0.06 ea
  • Ortega Salsa $0.87
  • Ortega Taco Shells $0.63
  • Pillsbury Cookie Dough $0.50
  • Smart Balance Sour Cream $1.19
  • Silk Soymilk $1.89
  • Brownberry Healthnut Bread FREE (coupon from Blissdom)

See the Meijer deals for this week 2/14 – 2/20.

Do you have a successful trip you’d like to share? Send me your scenario or photo!

Save Money & Make Money Transferring Prescriptions

rx logo

An easy way to make money is by transferring prescriptions!

Rite Aid through 2/28/10:
Print coupon and get a $25 gift card with a new or transferred prescription. *You can do this twice for a total of $50 in giftcards!

Meijer through 2/28/10:
Coupon in this week’s circular.  Earn $10 off YOUR NEXT TOTAL PURCHASE when you buy a new OR transfer a prescription.

For example, I currently have a prescription at Rite Aid, so I could transfer to Meijer for $10 and back to Rite Aid to make another $25.  If you have to spend on the prescription anyway, consider the gift card extra money in your pocket to spend on essentials!

*Note of caution:  price check your prescriptions before transferring!  CVS will match a competitor’s prescription transfer coupon. I thought about transferring to CVS to get a $25 gift card, but when I price checked my prescription, it was 3 times more expensive at CVS so the gift card wasn’t worth it!

Know of any other store with a prescription coupon this week?
