I could have done this in 2 transactions and used the $3 OYNO catalina from the Gain on the rest of it… but I was in a hurry. It happens. ;) I’ll use it next time. As usual, I only count the food so I spent $4.36 from this week’s budget.
If you got the Ortega when it was on sale you already had the 9¢ beans & seasoning packets, but you can do the rest of it this week using my Meijer grocery deals. Grand Rapids Coffee Roasters
On Saturday, I stopped at Grand Rapids Coffee Roasters to pick up my 3# bulk coffee order. I discovered Craig’s locally roasted coffee about the same time I started this blog and I don’t like drinking anything else! I used the “Buy 2#, Get 1# FREE” coupon from the Local First coupon book.
Tonight I’m picking up my bulk rice order. The Local Cook and I are splitting a 25# bag of basmati rice. That will cost me $13.75. See where I’m at with my weekly spending on the $25 Food Budget Tally. I’m a little over budget… next week will be tough!
