Coupon Lingo & Abbreviations

Here’s a quick run down of the abbreviations and lingo you’ll see here:

BOGO – buy one, get one
DND – do not double (coupon)
ECB – Extra Care Buck (CVS Pharmacy)
ETS - excludes trial size
EXP – expiration date
FAR - free after rebate
IP – internet printable coupon
MIR - mail in rebate
MQ - manufacturer coupon (bar code begins with 5 or 9)
MM - money maker
OOP - out of pocket
OYNO – on your next order (catalinas/register receipts)
PURCHASE COUPON – $5/$20 ($5 off a $20 purchase)
RAVV - Rite Aid Video Values (store coupon, bar code begins with RC)
RR - Register Rewards (Walgreens)
SCR - Single Check Rebates (Rite Aid)
WAGS – Walgreens
WYB - when you buy
YMMV - your mileage may vary (the deal may be different for you depending on your particular store or scenario)

$1/3 – save $1 when you buy 3
2/$5 – price of items, 2 for $5

Matchups look like this:

Use $1 coupon HERE (the manufacturer coupon – IP or insert)
