As frugal as I am, I hadn’t been to a garage sale in years until about a month ago. I had forgotten how many cool little treasures you can find! Hands down, the thing I was most fascinated with was a collection of antique salt cellars. The owner explained that before we starting using salt shakers, each guest’s place setting had individual salt cellars.
Because I love any excuse to entertain and because I’m fascinated with the wide variety of seasoned sea salts now available, I thought it would be kind of cool to have a “Sea Salt Party”! I’d fill salt cellars with different flavors of sea salt and taste them with various foods.
Of course you can find salt cellars on ebay… but if you shop ebay for salt cellars (or anything else) don’t forget to shop through Ebates for cashback!! *If you’re not familiar with cashback sites, please read this tutorial.
Speaking of salt, don’t forget the $0.55/1 Morton Season-all salt coupon is still available here! Print it now if you want it!
