While in Chicago, we stopped into a Trader Joes grocery store. I hear all the time “why doesn’t Grand Rapids have a Trader Joes?”, “West Michigan needs a Trader Joes”. I have to be honest: what’s all the fuss about?
Besides the fact that they had nice-looking produce (which was no less expensive than here), a wide variety of private label items (including beer!), and Two Buck Chuck (supposedly decent wine for $1.99), it was kind of a tiny, dingy store. What am I missing here??
