Kmart: $0.99 Double Coupon Event

Kmart is doubling coupons again! Once again, they’re changing up the rules a bit, so here’s the scoop!

Kmart $0.99 Double Coupons:

Event is 7/25 – 7/31/10.
Coupons up to (including) $0.99 will be doubled.
5 coupons per customer per day will be doubled.
You must use your Shop Your Way Rewards card.

Current Prescription Transfer Coupons

I had a request for the current prescription transfer coupons, so here they are!

An easy way to save money & make money is by transferring prescriptions! For example, I currently have a prescription at Rite Aid, so I could transfer to Meijer for $20 and back to Rite Aid to make another $25. If you have to spend on the prescription anyway, consider the gift card extra money in your pocket to spend on essentials!

Rite Aid through 4/9/10:

Print coupon from coupons.com and get a $25 gift card with a transferred prescription.

Meijer through 4/17/10:

Earn $20 off YOUR NEXT TOTAL PURCHASE with a new OR transferred prescription.

Kmart through 4/10/10:

Get a $25 gift card for each transferred prescription. You can do this up to 4 times for $100 total in gift cards. (Thanks, CentsableMomma!)

CVS:

CVS will match a competitor’s prescription transfer coupon.

*Note of caution: price check your prescriptions before transferring! I thought about transferring to CVS to get a $25 gift card, but when I price checked my prescription, it was 3 times more expensive at CVS so the gift card wasn’t worth it!

Update: $10/$20 Kmart Coupon + Diaper Scenario

kmart Ok, this is a catchall post, so bear with me…

1. The $10/$20 Kmart coupon has printed out (meaning only so many were made available and they are now gone,) so I hope you were able to print it yesterday!

2. Nicole has a great diaper scenario with the $3/1 Huggies coupon I posted yesterday (and the $10/$20 if you have it):

Savvy Scenario:

Huggies Diapers (in the box) $20.99
Use $3/1 Huggies coupon
Use $10/$20 Kmart coupon
Get back $3 reward on your Shop Your Way card (sign up for one if you don’t have one because it’s FREE and you’ll need it for the upcoming Kmart Double Coupon Event)

Nicole was also able to get all of this for only $38.03 (regular price $158.94) by doing 3 transactions with the $10/$20 coupon:

Ok, you are probably only going to understand my over-the-top enthusiasm for the return of Kmart double coupons if you are a hard-core, rock-star couponer… BUT now’s the time to become one because…

Kmart Double Coupon Event returns the week of 4/4/10 – 4/10/10!!!

So, what’s the fuss about? See an example of a previous Kmart Double Coupons shopping trip. I got lots of FREE/cheap stuff including: dish soap, dish washer detergent, laundry detergent, household cleaners, deodorant, razors, hair gel, shampoo, lotion, etc! I’m still using up those items from my stockpile. What does that mean? It means I haven’t payed full retail price for any of those items in about 6 months!
