Sorry it has been a little slow around here this week. It’s not due to the lack of deals and frugal living tips, but because I’m in a really exciting transition. I have so many ideas to bring you more and better West Michigan deals, but haven’t had the time to execute all my plans due to my full-time job, volunteering with Special Olympics, and all of life’s other commitments. I’ve been shifting around my priorities and, as of this week, I’ll be able to spend a bit more time focusing on this blog!

This week I took a step back to get everything ready to GO. Thanks for your patience.

In the meantime, can you please help me out by letting me know what kinds of deals you’d like to see more of in the future? What’s been the most helpful or your favorite kind of deal? Are there specific things you need help saving money on? Just leave me a quick suggestion in the comments section of this post.

Today is Veteran’s Day. It’s about truly honoring our veterans, recognizing their service, and being grateful for the lifestyle we enjoy thanks, in part, to them.

It’s about getting choked up every time I’m at a sporting event and see our flag and hear the national anthem. It’s about my dad and his 30+ years of service to the U.S. Navy. It’s about his friend Ray, another Navy retiree, who generously supports my brother’s Special Olympics activities.

So sorry I’ve been MIA for a few days now… my laptop crashed! Until I get it fixed or get a new one, I’m hoping I can stay a little bit late after my day job each day to get a few posts up. Thanks for bearing with me :)

PS If anyone knows why my pc just keeps rebooting itself over and over and over (bringing itself back to the Windows XP welcome screen) please leave me a comment! haha I’m hoping it’s an easy fix!
