Shopping drugstores deals can be a little bit confusing if you’re just getting started. Here’s what you need to know about Rite Aid:
1. Get a Rite Aid Wellness+ Rewards Card. This will save you 10 – 20 % (get better percentages the more you shop) off each purchase without clipping any coupons.
2. Create a Rite Aid Single Check Rebate (SCR) account. Get cash back on SCR items. New rebate items each month.
3. Create a Rite Aid Video Value (RAVV) account. Watch short video commercials to earn printable coupons. New videos and coupons each month. Only 1 coupon can be printed/used per account.
4. Rite Aid Video Values coupons are store coupons that can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons. 1 RAVV coupon + 1 MQ used per 1 item purchased.
5. Purchase +UPR items and get coupons that print out on the bottom of your register receipt. These coupons are good on your next purchase. Sometimes there are purchase limits (ex. 1 per transaction), and sometimes it’s unlimited (ex. buy 4 items and it will print 4 +UPR coupons).
6. +UPR are just like cash. You may use as many as you like (not to exceed purchase amount) per transaction.
7. If you’re doing a +UPR deal such as, “buy $30 worth and get a $10 +UPR”, you must reach $30 AFTER your Wellness+ card discount to get the +UPR.
8. You can use a BOGO FREE coupon on a BOGO FREE sale to get 2 items for FREE according to Rite Aid’s coupon policy. Update: As of 5/26/11, Rite Aid’s policy is to no longer accept BOGO coupons on a BOGO sale.
9. Enter your receipts at the end of each period and request your Single Check Rebate – a check that prints on a postcard and is mailed to you. You may only request one check per month.

It’s really easy once you’ve tried it a few times and totally worth it. Remember I got $761 completely FREE at my favorite drugstore in October 2009? Depending on how brand loyal you are, you can easily save 70% or more on each trip to Rite Aid! Print the Rite Aid Coupon Policy (revised 5/26/11).
